Peacefully at home Brian R.I.P. husband of the late Vera; loving father of Denver, Barney and Jason; father-in-law of Ruth, Mandy and Joanne; much adored Granda of Louise, Denver, Steven, Leigh-Ann, Frankie, Ciaran, Niall, Adam and a cherished great granda.
Son of the late William and Bridget and dear brother of Susan, Tommy and the late Jimmy, William, John, Margaret, Joe and Mary.
House private please.
Funeral from his late residence, 45 Larchfield Gardens, on Monday at 10:15am for 11 o’clock Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Drumagarner. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
St. Anthony pray for him.
Deeply regretted by the entire Johnston and Smith family circle.

Will always remember Brian with love and affection. Moneydig Road won’t be the same without him walking along feeding the birds and smiling and singing. We’ll miss you Brian.

To Denver, Barney, and Jason. I want to say how deeply saddened I am to hear about your dad.
Every time I came home from overseas I was always comforted by the fact that I knew your dad would always be on on the Moneydig Road, and we’d meet up to share stories.
He always had so much time for everyone, and Sophie, Louis and I will forever cherish our memories of him and miss him greatly.

I have only just learned of Brian’s passing. He didn’t know me, nor I him, but he would never pass me in the street, on the rare occasions that our paths crossed, without giving me a friendly greeting. My sincere condolences to all his family.
