Acknowledgment Notice for the late John & Mary McCloskey R.I.P. (Kilrea)

The entire family circle of the late Mary & John RIP wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent sad bereavements. The family wish to especially thank all those kind friends, neighbours, and members of the wider community who helped them during this difficult time.

Thank you to all who called at the house, brought food, telephoned, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, texts, online messages, letters of condolence, those who made donations, and to everyone who lined the cortege route to pay their respects and accompany Mary and John on their journeys to the church.

A special thanks to Fr Cargan PP for the beautiful Requiem Masses and for his spiritual support and guidance.

Thanks to Sophie Giraudeau & Aileen McCourt who along with The McCloskey family provided the beautiful music & singing and the Gribbin Girls who provided the music at John’s funeral. Thanks to Wishy Drain for preparing the graves.

A special thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Causeway Hospital for looking after Mary and John so compassionately during their short illnesses and to the hospital chaplain for taking care of their pastoral needs.

The family wish to sincerely thank all the doctors and staff at Kilrea Health Centre and Shields Pharmacy for all their help and care over the years.

The family also wish to thank McKiernan and Sons for their guidance and professionalism which offered immense support and dignity to the family.

The Holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for the intentions of all. As it would be impossible to thank everyone please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our gratitude.

The months mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 21st November at 6pm in St. Mary’s Church, Drumagarner.

The family circle of the late Brigid R.I.P. wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement.

A special thanks to Fr. Cargan P.P. for his spiritual support, guidance and celebrating the beautiful Mass.

The family wish to especially thank all those relatives, friends, neighbours and members of the wider community who helped them during this difficult time, sent Mass cards and sympathy cards, and those who lined the Cortege route to pay their respects and accompanied Brigid on her journey to the church.

Our thanks to the Gribbin Girls who provided the beautiful music and to Wishy Drain who prepared the grave.

A special thanks to the dedicated staff of St James' Lodge and Garvagh Nursing home for their compassion and commitment in the care of Brigid. We are indebted to them.

Josie and the entire family circle of the late Ken R.I.P. wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement. 

A special thanks to Msgr. McCanny for his unending spiritual support, guidance and for celebrating the Requiem Mass and Fr. Hassan for concelebrating the Mass.

Thank you to all the staff of Causeway Hospital Coleraine for their care and compassion throughout especially the staff in Medical Ward 2.

The family wish to thank all their relations, neighbours, friends and members of the wider community who helped them during this difficult time, who sent Mass cards and sympathy cards and those who lined the Cortege route to pay their respects and accompanied Ken on his journey to the church.

Our thanks to Kieran and Tracey McGilligan who provided the beautiful music and to those who prepared the grave.

Thanks also to the Committee and Club members of Limavady Wolfhounds GAC for all their help in traffic management and stewarding the funeral to enable people to show the family their support whilst abiding by the COVID guidelines.

Finally thanks to McKiernan & Sons for their empathy and their dignified manner in which the funeral arrangements were conducted.

The family of the late Michael R.I.P. wish to thank all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. Thank you to all who called at the house, telephoned, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, texts, online messages, letters of condolence and came to line the road and graveyard to show their respects.

Thanks to Fr. Cargan P.P. for the beautiful Requiem Mass and his support and thoughtfulness throughout. To the Gribbin girls who provided the lovely singing and music during mass. A word of thanks to those who controlled the traffic on the day of the funeral and to Wishy Drain for preparing the grave. Sincere thanks to the piper David Linton for making our fathers send off so special.

A special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Causeway Hospital for looking after daddy so compassionately during his short sickness and to Fr Raymond Mc Cullagh for taking care of his pastoral needs.

The family wish to express their deep appreciation to all the doctors and staff at Kilrea Health Centre and Shields Pharmacy for their dedicated care to daddy.

The family also wish to thank Mc Kiernan & Sons for their support and for the professional and dignified manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

Don, Geraldine, Gillian and the entire family circle of the late Gertie R.I.P. wish to express their sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with them in their recent bereavement. Thank you to Fr McWilliams PP for his spiritual support, guidance and celebration of the Requiem Mass.

The family were touched by the Guards of Honour provided by the school children of St Patricks Primary School and the girls of Rasharkin Camogie Club who accompanied Gertie on her journey to the Church.

Our thanks to Paul O’Kane who provided the beautiful music at the Mass including his Tin Whistle solo at the end which meant so much. Thank you to Henry the Sacristan and to those who prepared the grave.

To all of the medical staff who cared for Gertie over the last few months we thank you so much, especially, to all the doctors and staff at Rasharkin Health Centre who were so professional at all times. A special thanks must go to the District Nurses Vicky, Rosie and Oonagh and to all the supporting care staff who visited Gertie at home. Your help was so appreciated.

The family are overwhelmed by the support they have received from kind neighbours, friends and members of the wider community who helped them during this difficult time. Thank you for all the mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, notes, flowers, phone calls and kind words received. Thank you also to those who made donations to Marie Currie.

Finally, a special note of thanks to McKiernan & Sons, whose professionalism throughout offered immense support and dignity to the family.
