Peacefully at home Alice R.I.P. wife of the late John; loving mother of Paddy, John, Mary (Martin), Teresa (McGillian), Peter, Donald, Siobhan (McKaigue), Anne (McElhinney) and the late Paul and mother-in-law, of Mary, Bernadette, Anne Marie, Breige, Robert, Jamie, Frank and Eddie.
Daughter of the late Dan and Annie and sister of Bella (Ward), Peggy (McErlean), Susan (McNicholl) and the late Mary (Darragh), Pat, James, Danny and Archie.
Funeral from her late residence, 120 Lismoyle Road, on Monday at 10:15am for 11 o’clock Requiem Mass in the Church of St. John The Baptist, Granaghan. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. (Mass will be broadcast live on the parish webcam https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-john-baptist-swatragh)
Due to government restrictions the family home is private and funeral Mass numbers are limited to social distancing within the church.

My heartfelt condolences to Paddy, John, Mary, Teresa, Ann, Siobhan, Peter and Donal and the extended McKenna Family. I am really saddened to hear of the passing of Aunt Alice. She was a beautiful. loving, kind soul with a heart of gold that was precious and rare. Alice will be dearly missed by all those who’s lives she touched. She always had a smile for everyone and an open heart for all. We will hold her in our hearts forever with such fond treasured memories. May God bless and keep her in His care.

I was so sorry to learn, so late that Alice has passed away. My condolences to Paddy and all of the McKenna family.
I hadn’t seen Alice in almost 40 years and called to see her at her home a few years ago. After opening the door she said ‘I know who you are and the name will come’. It did, and what a welcome. An enjoyable visit reminiscing of those days many years ago. Alice was simply a lovely warm and welcoming person. May she rest in peace.
