My sincere condolences to the McKiernan family on the death of a devoted Husband, father and grandfather.
I visited Michael when he was in the Royal Hospital Belfast and found a man with outstanding faith and excepting that his ongoing health was in the hands of God.His family can be so very proud of the legacy he has left in his home town of Kilrea,a family business built on the right principles,of treating everyone with compassion in a time when families need caring guidance from professional undertakers.
May God give Michael’s gentle soul a peaceful rest.

Really sad to hear of Uncle Michael’s passing. He was one of the kindest and gentlest people I have ever met and I know Aunty Eily and his family were very lucky to have someone like that in their lives. I got to see Uncle Michael for the last time, 4 years ago when he was in Ocean City NJ, for a wedding. I have fond memories of the conversations I had with him that weekend and distinctly remember how much of a calming and engaging atmosphere he brought to the room. Heartfelt condolences to Aunty Eily and the whole family and so sorry for your loss. Eamonn, Colleen, Rosa and Rori. Philadelphia USA.
