Peacefully at home Gertie R.I.P. beloved wife of Don, loving mother of Geraldine (Hillion) and Gillian and her partner Eamonn and dear sister of John, Finn, Philip, Dessie, Timmy, Maureen, Una and the late Sheila, Ban and Jim.
Gertie’s funeral will leave from her late residence, 39A Main Street, on Friday at approx. 10:30 am travelling to St. Mary’s Church, Rasharkin allowing friends and neighbours the opportunity to stand along the route and pay their respects whilst maintaining social distancing.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 11am. (Mass will be broadcast live on the Rasharkin Parish Website http://www.stmarysparishrasharkin.org/webcam)

Unfortunately, due to the Corona Virus pandemic, and in the interest of health and safety within the community, the house is private and funeral Mass numbers are limited.
Deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband, daughters and the entire McGarrell and McGarry family circle.

The Board of Governors, Principal and Staff of St Patrick’s Primary School Rasharkin deeply regret the death of our esteemed former colleague Gertie R.I.P, and tender to the entire family circle our sincere sympathy. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.
